The Portland-based rapper is a rapper, singer, and songwriter. Amine first came to the scene with his debut single, “Caroline,” that peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Top 100 charts. His professional music career originally began with his debut mixtape, Odyssey to Me, but he did not gain widespread popularity until 2016, when he released his debut single. In 2017, Amine released his first studio album, “Good For You” and in 2018, he released his second album, “OnePointFive.” Before making his mark on music, Amine was studying marketing at Portland State University.
He has two nominations for Best New Hip Hop Artist and Best Dance Recording at the BET Hip Hop Awards and Grammies. Amine is known for his on-stage interaction with the crowds and is usually an entertaining rapper that audiences have seen live.
