In 2020, Old Dominion crossed another item off their bucket list after their single, “One Man Band,” won Group of the Year at the CMT Music Awards. The accomplishment came after the band was nominated three times by the prestigious awarding group in the past. That same year, the Tennessee-based quintet won big after securing two Academy of Country Music Awards and a Country Music Association Award. These accolades were a result of the band’s exemplary work with their self-titled third studio album. Released in 2019, the record topped Billboard’s Top Country Albums and peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200. Furthermore, the album notably spawned two number 1 Country Airplay Songs singles, the gold-certified “Make It Sweet” and platinum-certified “One Man Band.”

Since 2014, the band has released a plethora of chart-performing hits. Their debut single, “Shut Me Up,” peaked at number 58 Country Airplay chart. The following year, Old Dominion dropped their first breakout hit, “Break Up With Him,” which topped the same chart and peaked at number 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Shortly after their breakthrough, the follow-up single “Snapback” was released and performed exceptionally well on the charts. Both singles, spawned from their debut album Meat and Candy, earned double platinum status in the U.S. For the next three years, the band’s six subsequent singles topped the Country Airplay chart and entered the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. This was followed by the release of their latest effort, Time, Tequila & Therapy. The 2021 album ranked number 4 on the Top Country Albums and was the band’s first release under Sony Music Nashville.

Earlier this year, Old Dominion released an independent EP, Memory Lane, which featured the chart-performing title track. The single entered three Billboard charts, including the Billboard Hot 100.
