The indie-pop band from Cheshire started their international stardom in 2013 when their self-titled album became a massive success. Thanks to their hit tracks "Chocolate," "Sex," "Settle Down," "Robbers," and Girls," the band became a household name. The album topped the UK chart six days after its release. A year later, it achieved platinum certification and sold over 800,000 copies in the UK and the US. The band followed the success of their album with its sophomore record, "Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It." The album was also a massive success and was even named by many publications as one of the best albums of 2016. It was certified platinum in the UK and gold in both US and Denmark. The subsequent two albums, "A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships" (2018) and "Notes on a Conditional Form" (2020), continued the band's massive success as well.
The Manchester-based band just recently released a new song called "Happiness," hinting at the release of their upcoming album "Being Funny in a Foreign Language." The release came after the band announced their forthcoming tour, which will include some select US venues.
