Been feeling 'stressed out lately? Well, fret no more as TWENTY ONE PILOTS just announced the arrival of their highly anticipated new album "Clancy" matched with a massive headlining "The Clancy World Tour". The iconic duo's new LP is scheduled for release on May 17th via Fueled by Ramen. It follows their Billboard 200 #3 chart-topper "Scaled and Icy" back in 2021. Sharing two songs "Overcompensate" and "Next Semester" off of the upcoming LP, Twenty One Pilots is turning the heat up, launching an era that concluded a decade-long story since 2015's "Blurryface".

Amassing over 33 billion streams globally driven by their massive hit singles - "House of Gold", "Tear in My Heart", "Ride", "Heathens", "Jumpsuit", "My Blood", "Chlorine", and "Stressed Out", Twenty One Pilots is one of the biggest alt-rock acts of this generation. Having sold over 3 million tickets over the last decade of touring, Tyler Jospeh and Josh Dun have redefined the alt-rock scene with their unique angst and storytelling abilities. As Clancy marks its arrival, the album marks the final chapter of a multi-album narrative that all began with "Blurryface". From getting us banging our heads to "Stressed Out", we're in for a sonic grand finale.

"Next Semester" is an anthem that shares some vulnerable tales of anxiety, "It's a taste test (Ooh) / Of what I hate less (Ooh) / Can you die of anxiousness? (Ooh) / I don't wanna be here, I don't wanna be here / What's about to happen? What's about to happen?" Joseph sings.

A new chapter begins. Embracing the light on "Scaled and Icy", the duo previously shared with Billboard how their next LP might find them slipping back into darkness... Now that "Clancy" is dropping real soon, and we've got two songs on our hands now, we're yet to witness how Blurryface's grand finale concludes a journey of exploring the deep depths of Twenty One Pilot's soul.

"I realize that there is such an opportunity inside of the music to provide that storytelling … Not so much a concept album or concept song that you can’t extract your own experience from it," Joseph told Alternative Press in 2021. "But for it to be grounded in some bigger story always felt more impactful. When you’re creating something, you want to make sure that you’re tethered to reality still. Even if you’re venturing deep into this abyss, tie rope around your waist. [You] keep it tied back to where you came from."

Known for their music that explores the ins and out of humanity, and relatable topics that surround our existence, we're in for a record that'll strike all our feels. Get ready for Clancy.
