YG, which stands for Young Gangsta, is an award-winning rapper from Compton, California. He emerged in 2010 with his debut single, “Toot It or Boot It.” Since then, he has released several multi-platinum and gold-certified singles. He has released six high-regarded studio albums, and his music has also amassed more than ten billion global streams.

YG is a man of many talents. His music has been a staple in hip-hop, while his acting career has landed him a couple of notable roles. His critically-acclaimed albums have consecutively entered the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. YG has penned some of the most iconic and influential hits, including the politically charged “FDT (F*** Donald Trump)” featuring Nipsey Hussle and “FTL.” These highly-regarded singles have been revered as “some of the songs that defined the decade.” In 2020, YG performed “Fight The Power” at the BET Awards with Public Enemy and several iconic rappers.”

In 2022, YG dropped his latest studio album, I Got Issues. The new record features performances from big names in hip-hop, such as Post Malone, H.E.R, Roddy Rich, J. Cole, Nas, and many more. The album peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200.
