Weezer: The Gathering

Let’s be frank: whether you’re an old-school nerd that embraced your “preppy-geek” charisma with new-found confidence when Weezer first exploded onto the music scene in 1994 with their self-titled debut album, or a new-generation TikTokker that stumbled across Weezer by accident while scrolling through some reels, everybody loves themselves some Weezer. 

Weezer has just announced a massive 32-date arena tour alongside a smash-single Shine Again, their first release since signing to Reprise/Warner Records, and since 2022’s four-part EP series SZNZ. We’re just too happy that all of it wasn’t an April Fool’s joke, because that means that the geek-fest is coming to all the major venues across North America and Canada this fall! The Weezer: The Gathering tour is slated to kick off in early September 2026 in Sacramento, California, with stops in Vancouver, Denver, Detroit, Boston, Washington, Columbus, Atlanta, Tampa, and Phoenix, among others, on the itinerary before wrapping up in late October 2026 on their home-turf in Los Angeles, California.

Weezer has that x-factor that makes them stand out head and shoulders above any other band out there - and if geek-rock was a genre, they would have coined it. From their new bangers to their iconic singalongs such as Say It Ain’t So, Buddy Holly, and Beverly Hills, from fan-favorites and longtime hits such as Only In Dreams, Undone, and Island In The Sun, Weezer’s back catalogue is packed with genuine fun, great music, and high-octane energy. On stage, they are oozing with chemistry - and we’re not talking about the sciency kind. The fact remains - even if you have to take a drive to catch Weezer live in concert, we can assure you that it will be worth every bit.

Weezer will be joined on tour by American indie rock band The Shins, best known for hits such as New Slang and Caring Is Creepy, and Brian Aubert’s alternative rock outfit known for bangers such as Circadian Rhythm and Scared Together, Silversun Pickups.
