Now - We Are Free! Especially when Hans Zimmer is slated to take the stage and give us some of the best musical moments of our generation live and in action! The Moda Center, located in Portland’s Rose Quarter, home of The Trailblazers, and one of the premier venues for seeing live music and experiences throughout Oregon, is so excited to welcome Hans Zimmer as he takes on America for his 2025 World of Hans Zimmer II - A New Dimension Tour for a month and a half throughout the country. Hitting 24 stops across the states, Hans will be going to Gas South Arena in Duluth, Denver’s Ball Arena, The Allstate Arena in Chicago, The Lenovo Center in North Carolina, Toyota Center in Houston, and of course - right here In Portland on October 9th.

Maybe you’ve never heard his name - but you’ve absolutely heard his music before if you’ve been to a major box office film in the last 10 to 20 years. Hans Zimmer - the West German producer and score composer who has been working in the field for the last fifty years - is no secret to the music industry or to anyone who loves soft simmering tracks like the ones featured in Interstellar, or even to those who love brooding and encapsulating compositions like those featured in Dune. Known for integrating electronic music with live orchestral and symphonic sounds - some of Hans most notable work include making the scores for The Dark Knight Series, Interstellar, Lion King, The Dune Series, Man Of Steel, Inception, and Pirates of The Caribbean, to absolutely only name a few. He has won five GRAMMYs, three Emmys, two Oscars, a BAFTA, and has countless other accolades up and down his career. He is the head of the music division at DreamWorks, and the founder of Remote Control Productions based in California. 

When Hans comes to The Moda, he will be bringing along The Odessa Orchestra & Friends and the Nairobi Chamber Chorus to perform with him on stage. Odessa is known for their rich compositions and their ability to change up moods instantaneously, and the Nairobi Chamber Chorus adds a level of vocal death and cultural roots to make the performance unforgettable. And of course - with Hans directing the entire show.
