Maynard James Keenan’s “creative subconscious” has just announced a sizzling new album set to drop in February 2026, and even teased with a single, Self Evident. This is Puscifer’s fifth studio album, their first release in over five years, and features special appearances by Tool’s Danny Carey, King Crimson’s Tony Levin, and Ian Ross, Nine Inch Nails’ Atticus Ross’ father. Puscifer fans everywhere are ecstatic - and of course, a new album needs to be accompanied by a tour in support thereof.
Puscifer - featuring singer and creative genius Maynard James Keenan; vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Carina Round; and multi-instrumentalist Mat Mitchell - is slated to kick off the highly-anticipated The Normal Isn’t Tour in mid-March 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, raining absolute havoc upon all the major venues before wrapping up in mid-May 2026 in Los Angeles, California.
Anybody that has seen Puscifer live before, or have their albums on rotation, will agree that they are one-of-a-kind. They are highly experimental - a mystery that you’ll enjoy and will try to get to the bottom of, but will never fully figure out. From their weird tribal vibe to their unique mixture of a hermetic aura, punk-metal grooves, dancy aggression, and hysterical prepubescent humor; from their conceptual audio-visual theatricality to their unpredictability; from their immaculate musicianship to an energy that resembles a pent-up exuberance that are finally let loose, Puscifer, under normal circumstances, is anything but normal. It’s a music-meets-live-theatre experience drenched in showmanship; it’s strong, entertaining performance art, complete with a narrative and characters; it’s a rock concert filled with face-melters such as Momma Sed, The Humbling River, Grand Canyon, The Remedy, Man Overboard, Horizons, and The Undertaker - without brakes and moving at a breakneck speed; it’s creative antics and immaculate musicianship, and it’s way more than you’ve bargained for.
Puscifer will be joined on tour by American comedic musician Dave Hill, known for smash-hits such as I Wanna Live in New York City and Irritable Chimps.
