Swedish boundary-breakers, dark appetite-satisfiers, and hard rock communion-bringers Ghost are coming hot off the heels of a mammoth off-the-charts global tour, and have just announced a North American leg of their iconic, demonic Skeletour trek. This news - which is a hymn to the ears of all believers - comes after the release of a brand new limited edition of their sixth studio album Skeletá - the first hard rock album to top the charts in four years, boasting no less than five chart-topping singles. This new unholy relic is pressed on special Violet Mist vinyl and comes with collector’s items - a must-have for all fans and followers; while the Skeletour is the accompanying must-see. The hard rock legends are slated to rain hellfire on all the major venues in North America, commencing with Orlando, Florida, towards the end of January 2026, and finishing off in Inglewood, California, in late February 2026.
Rumour in the congregation of Papa Emeritus and his Nameless Ghouls has it that Ghost’s new music is heading in a different direction - inward, and what else can be expected from an award-winning band that constantly reinvents themselves? It’s uniquely personal, almost like an intimate dialogue with the self; it’s timeless; it addresses universal sentiments; and it cuts scaringly close to the bone with hellraisers such as Satanized, Lachryma, and Peacefield. Add to that their massive back catalogue featuring smashers such as Mary On A Cross, Con clavi con Dio, Call Me Little Sunshine, Year Zero, He Is, and Spillways that secured them a spot as one of the 21st century’s most significant, successful, and unique hard rock acts, their cranked-up-to-11 theatrics, their precision-engineered live performances, their boundary-pushing, and their blend of dark imagery, infectious music, and ambitiousness, and you have a totally reinvented concert experience - one that will turn you into a believer if you aren’t already one.
Fact is, Ghost dominates the stage - every inch of it; they have a fine balance between dark themes and catchy music; they are stunningly heavy when they need to be and lusciously melodic when it calls for it; and they are absolute legends - legends that must be seen live in concert.
And Portland, your darkest dreams are about to come true, because the Moda Centre is honoring its long legacy of bringing the best of the best to you.
