It will be an exciting 2026 for all fans of Mexican pop rock band Maná, as they extend their Vivir Sin Aire Tour. Named after their hit song from 1992, the band has added more than 30 days to meet the demand of their loyal supporters. The tour follows their successful recent tour, México Lindo y Querido which sold out more than 100 concerts in 14 countries and has been watched by over 1.8 million fans. They have expressed their appreciation for the warm reception for their upcoming tour via Instagram, confirming that they have indeed “added more dates, more cities, and more rock and roll for 2026,” The band also verbalized their heartfelt gratitude for their listeners since 1981, saying, “Thank you for your loyalty, love, and support. Don’t miss it because we’re coming with everything!”
There is no doubt about Maná’s success, either commercially or in terms of musical legacy. What started as a music journey in Latin America and Spain has soon introduced them to fans worldwide. Aside from selling over 45 million records throughout their career, they have also been awarded four Grammy Awards, 19 Billboard Latin Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, six Premios Juventud awards, and 15 Premios Lo Nuestro Awards. They have experienced changes in their lineup over the years and have even changed their name from being originally called Sombrero Verde early in their career. They have produced 11 albums and have accomplished 11 tours since their establishment. The band has also been recognized and respected for their active efforts towards human rights, environment-centered initiatives, and other relevant advocacies. In 1995, they formed the Selva Negra Foundation to support programs for the environment. They have also collaborated with the Mexican government to save sea turtles, raising 140,000 turtle eggs to be set free on the country’s Pacific coast. Their heartfelt music and admirable values have made them fondly loved by their audiences even decades later.
