Moda Center at the Rose Quarter
The Sweat and Blood Tour, headlined by Motionless In White, comes to the Moda Center on Tuesday, August 4th. They needed to test whether there was going to be more screaming in agony at this event or at your regular Portland Trail Blazers game. Chris "Motionless" Cerulli might beat the average fan, but it's going to be close!
All bad jokes aside, this is gonna be the best rock night at the Moda Center in a while. Lorna Shore, Fit for a King, and Static Dress will all be joining the headliners to offer a festival vibe that you're not going to find at this venue, basically at all this year. All of these bands are going to have a chance to bring their own set and truly craft that gloomy atmosphere, taking advantage of the lighting and the different elements that this venue has to offer. Are you ready to figure out if "Afraid of the Dark" is for you? Then be sure to click the "Buy Tickets" link now.
Motionless in White are going to be coming off a widely successful European tour by the time they hit this stop in Portland. In that road trip, their latest release, "Afraid of the Dark," was the guiding light of the performance. Don't look now, but by the summer, we might have a full album to accompany that single, which really hit the airwaves hard. It's also a song that just meshes with the vibe that the band brings to every stage they set foot on. All of these are maybes; the guarantee, though, is that the US tour brings together a ton of incredible talent!
"Blood Rave" has been the term that Motionless in White coined to describe this performance. It fits the performance like a glove because we're going to be seeing a ton of talent take the stage, as mentioned. You're going to be inside the Moda Center for quite a while because each of these bands is going to take its time on its set. Since we're indoors, though, the black t-shirt and boots outfit is not going to cause you to overheat. That's one of the major wins of this stop at the Moda Center.
Only a fraction of the Moda Center is going to be open for this one. That's something that you need to keep in mind because it could mean you'd have access to floor spots at a fraction of the regular price. Plus, the spots on the floor give you a closer look at the performance than you'd have at a full arena show. If you're looking for a more comfortable overall experience, spots toward the middle of the theater might just be what you're looking for.
Right now, you can find spots inside the Moda Center for around $68. That's one of the best deals for concerts at this venue all year. Make sure you click the "Buy Tickets" link soon to grab yours before they start running out.
