Last year, Motionless in White released their first single to go number 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock charts. The song, titled “Masterpiece,” entered four Billboard charts, including topping the Mainstream Rock and debuting at number 5 on the Hard Rock Songs chart. The single is spawned from the band’s sixth studio album, Scoring the End of the World. Released in the summer of last year, the record peaked at number 2 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and number 12 on the Billboard 200. The album featured four more chart-performing singles, “Cyberhex,” “Slaughterhouse,” Werewolf,” and the highly-regarded title track.

Before dropping their 2022 album, Motionless In White spent the better part of the pandemic releasing chart-performing singles. The band released a cover of The Killers’ “Somebody Told Me,” which ended up at number 15 on the Hard Rock Songs and 32 on the Mainstream Rock charts. That same year, Motionless in White dropped the gold-certified hit “Another Life,” the last single from their fifth album, Disguise.

Since releasing their debut effort in 2010, the band has been a consistent contender on the Billboard charts. Despite their shock rock visuals, Motionless in White was well-received by hard rock and heavy metal fans. In 2012, the band released their career-defining effort, Infamous. The sophomore effort soared to number 53 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 19 on the Top Hard Rock Albums. The album, released via Fearless Records, spawned the band’s staples, “Devil’s Night,” “If It’s Dead We’ll Kill It,” and “A-M-E-R-I-C-A.” According to frontman Chris Cerulli, the album was the band’s first step into moving away from the general metalcore sound. The band took the time to put “twists” and “re-invent” the record to make it their own. Clearly, the strategy worked because the album has been hailed by fans and critics as one of their best works to date.

In 2014, the band clearly rose to prominence when their third effort, Reincarnate, entered Billboard 200’s Top 10 and peaked at number 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums. The album spawned the chart-performing title track and “Unstoppable,” which reached numbers 24 and 39 on the Mainstream Rock charts, respectively.

If you want to catch Motionless in White in action this fall, you should quickly secure tickets to their show at the Theater of the Clouds in Moda Center!
