If you’re a horn-raiser, you’ll remember when L.D. 50 dropped in the 2000s, spawning three face-melting singles, Dig, Death Blooms, and Nothing To Gein. The album, featuring Mudvayne’s signature experimental ragged and dissonant sound, together with a sound collage, shot right to the top of the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. It’s been a quarter of a decade since, and metalheads everywhere are more than ready to witness the adrenalin-fuelled group hit stages again. And that is exactly what they are planning to do.
Mudvayne is slated to kick off their 30-date L.D. 50 25th Anniversary Tour alongside industrial giants Static-X, who are also celebrating the 25th anniversary of their smash debut album, Wisconsin Death Trip. So on the cards this fall: a blend of technical aggression and twisted melodies, blistering riffs, and thunderous drums, bound to descend upon Dubuque, Iowa, in early September 2025, ploughing through all the major North American venues before wrapping up at the end of October 2025 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Mudvayne: brutal brilliance, full-throttle energy, stage presence second to none, rivalless in sound and image, musical proficiency, and armed to the teeth with an arsenal of heavy artillery.
