Shanes journey hasnt exactly been a straight line. Growing up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, he thought football was his path, he even spent some time at West point and Elon University before switching things up and graduating from Westchester University. But eventually the stage was calling his name and once he picked up the mic there was no going back and by 2016 he had already won Philly's Phunniest competition and from there things really took off.
In 2019, Shane was named a "New face" at the popular Just for Laughs festival and also caught Comedy Centrals attention as one of their "Up Next" comedians. He was beiefly announced as part of the Saturday Night Live cast, but after some unfortunate contraversy, that chapter closed quickly. Instead of that slowing him down though, Shane used it as fuel, and honestly it made him even stronger.
Fast forward to today and he is absolutly everywhere. His youtube special "Live In Austin" blew up, pulling in millions of views, and his 2023 special "Beautiful Dogs" became a global hit. On top of that, he co-created the sketch series "Gilly & Keeves" as well as runs the wildly popular "Matt and Shanes Secret Podcast" and stars in the netflix series "Tires" which has already been renewed for a third season. Oh! heres a fun little bonus. Shane even showed up in a Bud Light Superbowl ad and is also featured as a playable character in EA Sports College football 25. Not bad for a small town guy with a big sense of humor.
