The Killers at Moda Center

The American rockers, The Killers have had non stop success ever since they first formed back in 2001 in their hometown of Las Vegas. The talented members led by none other than Brandon Flowers have teamed up together and taken the world by storm with their long list of chart topping hits.

The Killers first rocketed to the top with their debut album Hot Fuss released in 2004 which included some of their biggest and most unforgettable songs of all time such as; "Mr. Brightside", "Somebody Told Me", "All These Things That I've Done" and "Smile Like You Mean It". With these powerful songs they transformed the Indie Rock scene, not just within the US but internationally as their fan base grew in the UK giving them over two million albums sold in the UK alone. As well as reaching platinum or multi platinum success in Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. Hot Fuss became one of the biggest albums of the entire year and was heavily featured on radio stations and was nominated five times for the Grammy Awards!

The incredible band continued on their journey with another album released in 2006 titled Sam's Town, with over five million albums sold across the world, it was pretty clear to see that their second record was another success. The album's soundscape focussed more on a stadium rock sound rather than electric rock and indie and took their career to another level with singles such as "When You Were Young."

Since their first two mind blowing albums, The Killers have toured extensively to their international fans and have carried on crafting their ever popular music. Their global success has taken them to perform on some of the biggest stages in the world, including Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium in London UK and the UK's famous Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and 2019. And now as one rock's most successful bands, they have sold over twenty eight million albums in total.
